Accessibility
We want the planners to be usable with clear text, a keyboard and straightforward controls.
What is provided
- Larger, high-contrast text, labelled inputs and visible keyboard focus.
- Text descriptions and material lists alongside the layout diagrams.
- Buttons for printing and saving without creating an account.
- Layouts that adapt to smaller screens; wide cutting tables can scroll horizontally with a keyboard.
Using the planners
Use Tab to move between controls and Enter or Space to activate buttons. Browser zoom can enlarge the interface. For a cutting table on a narrow screen, focus its table area with Tab and use the arrow keys, or swipe sideways, to see all columns. Printed output depends on your browser’s print settings.
Known limitations
The tools have not undergone a full independent accessibility audit. Visual diagrams are simplified and may not communicate every detail through assistive technology; use the accompanying text and quantities. Some validation messages are supplied by the browser. A public contact inbox is not yet active; its status is shown on Contact & corrections.
